Playlist: Ambient tunes for writing a western

Sometimes I need a little music to help me get in the mood of the scene I’m writing.

If I’m trying to achieve a certain emotion, I’ll turn to songs, artists or genres that elicit the exact feeling I’m looking to pull off. Or maybe I’m just looking for an ambient experience to take me to the place I’m describing. You’d be surprised, but there are hundreds of hours of ambient sounds recorded from storms, caves, streets, cafes, you name it.

If you’re trying to imagine yourself somewhere in the Wild West, check out the playlist I’ve been enjoying! See you in No Man’s Land, partner.
